New variant of these bars
You’ve got to get lucky on being shipped the new flavor versions where the newest ingredients are used inside these bars. This new, wonderful flavor option by Quest will not disappoint.
When I ripped the wrapper away, it smelled like a blueberry muffin. As it is possible to observe in the image, the bar has actual balls of chocolate, and even seems to get muffin pieces as well (they are not really pieces of muffin, but it does add to the feel considerably). Though it is not really dark chocolate, the bar also appears to get balls of black chocolate. Instead, it is probably only the mixture of the protein mixture, baking soda, as well as cocoa butter. Regardless, it adds to the feel in a manner that is good. This really is undoubtedly my favorite chocolate-flavored Quest Bar. This cookie dough one tops it, although I really like the white chocolate raspberry one. Undoubtedly an excellent choice by Quest. Gossip has it their next flavor will be Rocky Road, and I am confident they will do it nicely, although I do not actually see another demand for a chocolate established bar.
Pros – Low carbs. Tons of protein. Tastes great. What else do you have to have in a protein bar!? All these are excellent.
So it is dependent upon what your tastes are. This nutrition bar is fantastic, in the event you need (if you’re dieting) or like healthy food. You are going to need to compromise a little, in the event that you’d like great taste but can tolerate a decent flavor.
If You Get The Bad Version, You May Get Horrendous Flavor
“I used to not get much of a flavor that is coconutty.”
Why did they do it, you ask? As I Will describe, there are many motives. That means the fiber source that Quest used for this brand is some kind of new syrup or sugar alcohol, but under an alternate chemical name. I was never good at chemistry.
Since they switched to this new ingredient, it’s shifted the feel and flavor of every one of their bars. The color of the bars appear different due to it. The worst segment is the fact that Quest is attempting to promote the change as the following revolution in the business, saying it is an “upgrade” compared to their old formula. That seems amazing and all, but the fact of that matter is it could be really false. However, as much as they would like you to consider it accepting the changes, the reason they made the change was because of possible greed. Sadly over time, Quest nutrition bars began to become more and more popular, which struggled to satisfy the huge demand. Their only option was to switch to a fiber source that is different and quicker to grow, or lower the quality of the ingredients.
Naturally, this caused a stir so Quest seems to be making up for it by putting back in the better quality ingredients. It’s more expensive but if you’re worried about your health, you’re likely going to pay the extra few cents for it.
Again, it wouldn’t be as disturbing if they’d simply come out and disclose the reason for the change. But they insist on telling folks the change was made because it is an upgrade from the preceding one and a better formula.
The brand new pumpkin pie flavored bars are a whole disappointment flavor-wise, and also the brand new fiber source surely does not help. The feel is off, as well as the pumpkin flavor is merely too “pumpkin spicey.” But I think this way about all their pubs now. They simply do not taste the same. It is a significant pity, really.
Overall, these are still selling number 1 on Amazon so they that probably means you get the newer, much better tasting version of the chocolate Quest nutrition bars.
You can purchase them cheapest on Amazon because of the bulk discounting they offer.
