I adore all Quest flavors, and a few of the sweeter flavors taste like cinnamon rolls, strawberry cheesecakes, chocolate peanut butter, and vanilla almonds. Reminds me of having desert many times. As usual, these Quest nutrition bars contain an excellent supply of protein.
Of all the flavors, I really like the Cookies and Cream taste, which is hardly unhealthy. This bar is just right following a work out or a very good for an afternoon snack.
I’m a lover of Quest bars. I really like the protein to calorie ratio and also the low amounts of sugar, particularly when you compare them. Other bars can be found by them using a protein/calorie ratio that is similar, but I’ve never found another with 14 grams of fiber – not even so-called fiber bars.
I enjoy almost all of the flavors of Quest. I’d say it’s the white chocolate raspberry if I must choose a second favorite. If I don’t feel like eating breakfast, then I just pop one of these instead. Especially if I don’t have time to cook myself scrambled eggs and toast. If you run out of food options, carry a few of these bars.
When I was working out, I ate one for lunch plus another one after lifting weights and for dinner. They keep me completely full and of course taste fantastic. These or any other quest bars are strongly recommended by me.
These truly are the best tasting, and almost no-sugar protein bars I’ve ever eaten. If you’re trying to lose weight, bite on these between meals to reduce hunger and appetite. The naturally low calories of the Quest bars help encourage this type of behavior too.
If you have a little bit of time, you can try heating or baking the bars for about 1-5 minutes depending on your microwave or toaster oven power. If you can manage to find time to do that, these bars taste SO MUCH better. In this cookies and cream’s case, it’s almost like eating chocolate smores. Tasty!
While the fiber content is very good in these, it’s the low calorie meal replacement option that these bars give you that make them awesome. Usually if you buy these at the supermarket or some other non-retail center, you can expect to pay up to $3.50 for these. Try to buy online or in bulk if you can like in Costco/BJ’s wholesale club. Since these are so good, people actually buy at higher prices for the convenience, which means prices go up.
This particular flavor is not too “processed” so you won’t have to worry about putting nasty chemicals into yourself when eating these.
You can purchase the cookies and cream quest nutrition bar on Amazon because it’s usually a lot cheaper than anywhere else.
