Greatest protein bar out there as much as I am concerned. High protein, low fat and high fiber is the finest I have tried out. The variety of flavors is also outstanding. Drop a little low carb ice cream on top, also it feels as if you are being totally naughty while keeping your carb count way down. Very nice!
After doing analysis on the highly recommended protein bars from an online survey, I picked this protein bar. It has way more protein and fewer calories when compared to say the MetRx sports bars I ‘ve been using. Sometimes the textures can be a little rough on this Quest health bar but I do love the satiating fix that I get from this flavor as well as how good it tastes.
These were ordered by my neighbors fairly frequently since I eat protein bars daily. I return to apple pie as another favorite flavor of mine even though I’ve attempted many flavors. What’s different about this Quest bar is some parts of it are soft and chewy with small “applelets” scattered throughout. I’m actually quite surprised these aren’t more popular.
I really like the quantity of protein I get with each bar (20 grams) as well as the reality that there’s almost no sugar in it. Warm these in the microwave (without the package, clearly) for 10-20 seconds and you will have an incredible mini-meal. It nearly tastes like home made apple pie! For an improvised dessert, you can also try warming these up and then add your favorite ice cream on top as a decadent joy. Also note that compared to the other Quest bars, Apple Pie has slightly more net carbs than other Quest bars in the protein bar line. Still, it’s very low compared to many other brands.
I’ve always been a lover of Quest nutrition bars and Apple Pie flavor does not disappoint. With reduced carbs and the high protein count, it’s hard to try other alternatives. This really is all about as great as it gets for a protein power bar. In our family, we’ve tried just about every protein bar available. Quest bars are still very much the undisputed “kings” of high protein, no soy, and low carb nutrition bars out there on the market. On top of that, the Quest Apple Pie bar is also gluten free and only 180 calories.
Try the Quest Apple Pie Protein bars from Amazon because they usually have it in stock and are quite cheap there.
