If you hate the chewy texture of the leading protein bar, which has that nasty chemical synthetic taste, and how they get so tough that you have to microwave them to consume them, then you will like this! It does not quite taste like actual birthday cake with icing, however it does quite a great imitation, and the texture is terrific! It’s soft, cakey, sweet, and incredibly pleasing! I simply want the sprinkles to not roll around all over!
These bars are incredible and I’m addicted. I utilize these bars as a snack post exercising, and they keep me full for hours. The taste is much like a vanilla iced birthday cake and the sprays are a nice touch, although they do get everywhere. My one little feedback would be to be sure to have a paper towel on hand while eating (or put the bar in a bowl), as the sprinkles and crumbs will literally simply explode upon opening the bar (if you’re too rough or fast in opening the wrapper bar).
These protein bars taste really good; they do have some sort of an artificial taste that comes with the sweeteners used however I am not excessively concerned about it. They satisfy sweet cravings while likewise supplementing my protein consumption, and are about as great as the Quest brand alternatives out there I ‘d gotten a little exhausted of eating all the time.
These nutrition bars are much bigger than I thought. They are about the size of a Quest bar just like the Balance Bars brand. So that was kind of a nice, pleasant surprise. It tastes very much like a piece of birthday cake to me, seriously (I understand that’s the name of the bar, but you cannot always rely on that to be real). The macros on these are amazing too: 21 grams of protein, 24 grams of carbohydrates, 7 grams of fat, and a low 220 calories.
I’ve attempted many meal replacement bars and absolutely nothing compares to the Oh Yeah health bars. I was a faithful Quest bar customer (utilizing as a meal replacement to slim down and increase protein) however when in the Vitamin Store I re – thought my choices and felt I wanted to attempt something else. I bought the Oh Yeah Birthday Cake bar and was hooked! Better flavor and consistency and one gram more in protein! I still buy Quest, however likewise the Oh Yeah! Absolutely worth trying!
I happily buy both if any of them are on sale. As a man who often stays on a diet, and has actually been eating protein bars for a few years now, it’s nothing like the other protein bars. It’s like a piece of physical fitness heaven. That’s what I call it.
Best protein bar by far, I’ve been trying out protein bars for 2 years looking for the very best one, I never really liked the mission bars because it was too difficult, and the taste was simply okay. I’m always eagerly anticipating consume these instead of simply requiring myself to eat a Quest bar because I need the nutrients. I’ve been a fan of Quest bars for a couple of years, but hopefully do not alter their cooking formula as they did that for a period of time and angered a lot of customers. If you like birthday cake, try the cookies and creme too.
I extremely advise popping one of these bars in the microwave for 15-20 seconds. Heating up the bars provides it a more icing/warm cake taste that is unstoppable. Proceed and purchase these bars as a treat choice, you will not regret it, and if you’re like me, you’ll start buying a 12 count box pack of these weekly.
You can purchase the Oh Yeah birthday cake protein bars at Amazon online because it’s a lot cheaper there, usually.
